Indo-Pak cricket, 5 Things that COA chief said: No decision on India banning Pak for cricket world cup yet

New Delhi, Feb 22: Committee of Administrators chairman Vinod Rai and member Diana Edulji spoke about the issue of Pakistan's participation in the ICC World Cup. Briefly, this is what Rai said:

1. No decision yet on India's World Cup match against Pakistan. A call will be taken later.

2.  BCCI will submit concerns on Pak to the ICC via an email. "We will express concerns to ICC. We are in talks with government on scheduled India-Pakistan clash in World Cup," Rai said.

3.  There will be no IPL opening ceremony, and the money that was to be spent on the ceremony will be donated to the families of the CRPF jawans to who died in the Pulwama encounter.

4.  The BCCI has also asked for more security for players during the ICC world cup.

5. The BCCI email also suggests to the ICC that the cricket community in the future should not play with countries from where terror emanates.
