Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is helping infiltrators from Bangladesh to vote for the Trinamool Congress (TMC). This explosive allegation has been leveled by West Bengal BJP general secretary Sayantan Basu.
BJP leader Sayantan Basu made these comments at Raiganj in the North Dinajpur district of West Bengal on Tuesday. The BJP's District President Biswajit Lahiri and Raiganj assembly candidate Krishna Kalyani were present on the occasion.
Speaking to reporters, BJP leader Sayantan said, "Mamata Banerjee wants to turn West Bengal into West Bangladesh, so she is trying to get free votes with Bangladeshi infiltrators. An infiltrator from Bangladesh has even become their candidate. BJP workers are being killed in different places. The mother of a BJP worker was also killed in Goghat."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also slammed Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee during a BJP rally in West Bengal on Tuesday.
While campaigning for the BJP in Cooch Behar district in the midst of the ongoing West Bengal Election 2021, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee.
During a rally held in Cooch Behar district, PM Modi said in a sarcastic tone, "Didi is asking the question whether BJP is God who has come to know that BJP is getting a big win in the first two phases. In the elections. There is no need to trouble God to find out who is losing and who is winning. Seeing the face of Janata Janardhana shows what the wind is like."
"Your anger, your displeasure, your behavior, seeing all this, even a child can tell that you have lost the election, you have left the field. That day you sat inside the polling booth in Nandigram That day, the whole country had assumed that you had lost," PM Modi added.
