New Delhi: There is no fear of the police in Uttar Pradesh (UP). We are not saying this just like that, but after hearing this piece of news from Agra, you too will agree with us.
Here a father and son died in a village in Agra district due to a minor dispute with a neighbor over a goat.
Officials at Basouni police station said that the accused escaped after committing the double murders on Friday.
Villagers of Pura Shiv Lal of Bah tehsil told the police that a goat belonging to Bhikam Singh had entered Giani's house. After which someone hit the goat with sticks, breaking his leg. Due to this, there was a clash between the family members and the goat owner Gyani.
Gyani fired at 20-year-old Jitendra and his father Bhikam with his pistol, both of whom died on the way to the hospital.
Senior police officers reached the village in the evening and a police force was deployed from neighboring police stations in the area.
The atmosphere in the village is tense. The villagers are still unable to understand how one can move forward in a tragedy that ruins such a minor scuffle.
