Lucknow: There is good news for students preparing for Uttar Pradesh's competition examinations. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has introduced 'Abhyudaya Coaching' in the state to help the youth in preparing for many competitive exams like Civil, NEET and JEE.
Under this scheme, children from the financially weaker sections of society will be provided free coaching for competitive examinations. Under this scheme, free coaching centers will be established across the Uttar Pradesh. The objective of this scheme is to help all the students who want to prepare for various competitive exams but are unable to do so due to financial constraints.
On Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told the students who had registered for taking free coaching through this scheme that during the coronavirus lockdown they felt that coaching centers like Kota should be established in Uttar Pradesh as well.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also responded to questions related to the students' scheme. These coaching centers will be set up at the divisional level first, followed by coaching centers at the district level in the second phase. These centers will start work on Vasant Panchami (16 February) on the day of worship of Goddess Saraswati of Vidya.
In just 4 days, more than 4.84 lakh students have registered for taking coaching under this scheme for free. These students will also be able to join offline classes and get online content.
These coaching centers will also be directly connected to the veterans of different fields. For example, senior IAS, IPS and PCS officers will be counseling students in coaching. At the same time, principals of the military schools of UP will impart training for examinations like National Defense Academy (NDA) and Combined Defense Services (CDS). There will be separate classes for NEET and JEE.
The Uttar Pradesh government will also organize sessions to help students choose the best field for them. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath had announced this scheme on January 24.
"These coaching centers will give a new platform to the youth and inspire them to touch new heights," he had said.
