New Delhi: After meeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy has launched a strong attack on the central government.
Subramaniam Swamy has released the report card of the PM Modi government through a post on his Twitter account this morning. Subramaniam Swamy has alleged that the PM Modi government has failed on issues like the economy, border security, foreign policy, national security and internal security. He asked who is responsible for these failures.
On Wednesday, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy had met Mamata Banerjee. After the meeting, Subramaniam Swamy had praised Mamata Banerjee.
"Out of all the politicians I met or worked with, Mamata Banerjee is like Morarji Desai, JP, Rajiv Gandhi, Chandrasekhar and PV Narasimha Rao. There is no difference in the words and deeds of these people. This is a rare quality in Indian politics," Subramaniam Swamy told the media.
When the BJP leader was asked if he would join the TMC, he said, I am already with "Mamata Banerjee. I don't need to join the TMC."
Swami is reportedly unhappy with the BJP for not getting special attention from the party. Unhappy with not getting a big role in the second innings of the NDA government, Subramaniam Swamy has not been hesitant to openly criticize the decisions of the central government for some time now.
