New Delhi: The country is celebrating its 72nd Republic Day today. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, in many ways this time Republic Day has been different and changed.
This time there is no foreign head of state as the chief guest on the 72nd Republic Day.
This is the first time in decades that the head of government of any country is not joining our Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest.
