Along with PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh Cheif Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel were also among the top faces who were present at the temple site for the long-awaited event on August 5.
The Uttar Pradesh government has spoken to Mathura District Magistrate and has asked Dr. Trehan of Mendanta Hospital to provide immediate medical attention to the of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
“Honorable CM has taken details of the Health Status on Mahant Nitiya Gopaldas Ji who has been tested positive for COVID. He has spoken to DM Mathura and his followers and Dr. Trehan of Medanta and requested for immediate medical attention for Mahantji at Medanta. He has directed DM Mathura to provide all possible support for providing best possible medical attention,” the statement read.
The District Magistrate Sarvagya Ram Mishra also said that Gopal Das is suffering from breathing problems as well but his fever is subsided.
“Fever is normal as of now. He was having some slight breathing issues. Nothing serious as of now. He underwent an antigen test and was found positive. The chief minister has asked authorities to shift him to Medanta. He is stable,” the district magistrate said.
PM Modi laid the foundation of the historic Ram temple in Ayodhya and now after this update, he had to remain in isolation and get himself tested for the virus but the August 15 is not too far away so the PM status is much more important than any other thing in this pandemic.
