Panaji (Goa): Ahead of the Assembly election in Goa, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit the state on October 30 to begin Assembly poll campaign in the state.
Rahul Gandhi is expected to meet people affected by mining ban and will also meet fishermen, ANI reported.
According to reports, Gandhi would address a convention of Congress workers at SPM Stadium in Bambolim and also participate in various other party-level events scheduled that day.
In the last Assembly polls in Goa, Congress won 17 seats in the 40-member House, restricting the main opponent BJP to 13.
