New Delhi, Dec 30: With 2019 hours away, PM Narendra Modi has donned a new look for the New Year. The savyy and stylish PM has once again managed to set internet on fire as 2018 is about to end.



On visit to Port Blair, PM Modi managed to grab attention of the netizens by slipping into a mundu, a traditional southern Indian garment.



Net savvy PM was quick to share his new look' on his Instagram account with caption, "A morning in scenic Port Blairan early sunrise and traditional attire. Thinking about the brave heroes of our freedom struggle, who gave their lives for our freedom.



It just took minutes for the picture to go viral, with likes crossing one lakh. Bowled over by PM Modi's new look, many netizens complemented him, while some thanked the photographer for "amazing click".








Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday announced the renaming of three islands of Andaman and Nicobar on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Tricolour hoisting by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose here.



The Ross Island was renamed as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep, the Neil Island would now be known as Shaheed Dweep and the Havelock Island as Swaraj Dweep, Modi said during a speech.The PM also released a commemorative stamp, its first-day cover and a Rs-75 coin on this special day.He also announced setting up of a deemed university after Bose.



Earlier, Modi visited the Marina Park here and hoisted a national flag on a 150-feet high mast. He also paid floral tribute at Netaji's statue in the park. PM also took out time to pay floral tributes to the victims of the 2004 tsunami at a memorial in Car Nicobar here on Sunday.
