PM Modi to visit West Bengal, Assam today, will inaugurate many projects

Amit Kumar, New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit West Bengal and Assam today. During this time, the Prime Minister will give several projects to both states. 


PM Modi will visit Haldia in West Bengal and Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district of Assam, where he will lay the foundation stone for many schemes. It is worth noting that both states are going to have assembly elections in the next few months and the BJP is fiercely preparing for elections.


On his visit, the Prime Minister tweeted that 'tomorrow evening, I will be in Haldia, West Bengal. In a program there, I will dedicate the LPG import terminal built by BPCL to the nation. The Prime Minister will also dedicate the Dobhi-Durgapur Natural Gas Pipeline section to the nation under the Energy Ganga Project.


The Prime Minister wrote in his next tweet that 'The foundation stone of the second catalytic-iso dewaxing unit of Haldia refinery will be laid. A four-lane ROB-cum-flyover will also be inaugurated at Ranichak, Haldia on NH 41. '



Speaking about his Assam visit, Prime Minister Modi said, 'I will be among the people of Assam tomorrow. The Asom Mala program will be launched in a program at Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district, which will boost the state's road infrastructure. ' This initiative will contribute to the economic progress of Assam and improve connectivity.


He also said that 'The foundation stone will be laid for medical colleges and hospitals in Biswanath and Charaidev. This will give a boost to the health infrastructure of Assam. In the last few years, the state has made rapid progress in healthcare. This has benefited not only Assam but the entire Northeast. '


With this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate 348 km Dobhi-Durgapur Natural Gas Pipeline section to the country, which is part of the Prime Minister's Energy Ganga Project. This is an important milestone towards achieving a nation, a gas grid. Built with an investment of around Rs 2400 crore, the pipeline will help in the revival of HURL Sindri, Jharkhand fertilizer plant. Matix will supply gas to the fertilizer plant in Durgapur, West Bengal and meet gas demand in industrial, commercial and automobile sectors in all major cities.
