New Delhi, Sep 27, News24 Bureau: PM Narendra Modi is very upset as he too has to face the call drop issue, too often now. The issue came to light when PM was having a web-based interaction with the senior secretaries under the Pragiti initiative.
So how the 'aam aadmi' complain about the call-drop issue when even the prime minister of the country is not spared.
PM shared his agony in as many words when, as reported in Times of India, he said that he had to face the call drop issue while going to home from the airport. The report says that PM has asked the telecom department to find a solution to the issue and ensure that the mobile operators provide a satisfactory service to the consumers.

“The PM said that resolution of issues related to the telecom sector should be based on latest technological solutions. He emphasised that service providers must provide a high level of consumer satisfaction,” an official statement issued by the PMO said.

The telecom department has said that the issue is not country-specific and the whole world is facing this issue. But the PM has insisted that the department should find a way out and see to it that the consumers are satisfied. He wants the telecom department to act fast.
