The budget session of Parliament is going to start on January 29. This session will run in two parts till April 8. The first phase of the budget session will start from January 29 to February 15 while the second phase will run from March 8 to April 8.

Raman Jha, New Delhi: The budget session of Parliament is going to start on January 29. This session will run in two parts till April 8. The first phase of the budget session will start from January 29 to February 15 while the second phase will run from March 8 to April 8.


The first phase of the budget session will be held from January 29 to February 15 while the second phase will run from March 8 to April 8. The Budget session will begin with President Ram Nath Kovind addressing a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The Union Budget 2021 will be presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1 at 11 am.


The PM Modi government has convened an all-party meeting on January 30 to consult all parties before the budget is presented on February 1. The leaders of both houses of all political parties have been invited to this all-party meeting to be held through video conferencing. Sources say that NDA will also meet on this day.


This all-party meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Leader of Rajya Sabha Thawarchand Gehlot, Deputy Leader Piyush Goyal, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi, Arjun Ram Meghwal and V. Muralitharan. Leaders of both houses of all political parties will also participate in this meeting. The meeting convened from 11:30 AM will be through video conferencing.
