New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Center is celebrating the second anniversary of its second term today.

But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the BJP is not celebrating on this occasion. On this occasion, all BJP MPs and MLAs will visit two villages in their respective areas.

BJP president JP Nadda says that no festive program will be organized on this occasion, but welfare programs will be organized.

"As activists of the world's largest political party, we need to ensure that we provide maximum relief and assistance to the people in this difficult time of the coronavirus pandemic. Through the 'Seva Hi Sangathan' program, we have to express our gratitude to the public. Which has brought us to power and because of which the government has worked effectively for the last seven years," he said.

Along with this, he said that BJP MLAs and MPs have been given the responsibility to reach two villages each and help the people. On May 30, BJP leaders will visit 1 lakh villages. During this time, BJP workers will provide kits of essential items like masks, sanitizers and ration to the people in the villages and make people aware about how to avoid the Covid-19 virus.

Not only this, Union ministers have also been asked to visit at least two villages. If it is not possible for the ministers to reach in person, then a video meeting has been ordered.

Nadda also said that they should not let their guard down as the infection has spread to rural India and is affecting many young citizens including children. He had also asked BJP-ruled states to prepare a program for the welfare of children orphaned by the Covid-19 epidemic and ordered it to start on May 30.
