Kharagpur (West Bengal): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Kharagpur, West Bengal as part of the BJP's campaign for the upcoming assembly elections.

Addressing the people at this rally, PM Modi said, "It is my honour that you have come to bless the BJP in such a large number, this clearly shows that this time the BJP government in West Bengal."

During his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised "Asol Poribortan" (real change). He also claimed that the BJP will form the government in West Bengal by defeating the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC).

"Your enthusiasm is clearly saying that this time the BJP government is coming in West Bengal. Why am I saying this? Because about 130 of our BJP workers sacrificed their lives for the bright future of West Bengal," PM Modi said.

"You have seen destruction by the Congress and the Left parties. The TMC ruined your dreams. In the last 70 years, you gave everyone an opportunity, but give us 5 years, we will liberate Bengal from 70 years of destruction, we will sacrifice our lives for you," he added.

Attacking Mamata Banerjee, PM Modi said," West Bengal has a different single window. Didi stopped the employment opportunities here. Here the mafia industry was allowed to flourish. Everyone knows where the illegal mining and TMC leaders are connected. When the BJP comes to power in West Bengal, the Mafia Raj will be eradicated."
