New Delhi, News24v Bureau, April 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches a big attack on Congress and says the party needs a chowkidar because a huge amount of money is confiscated in the Income Tax Raids. He was hinting at the on-going raids in homes of many political leaders.

PM Narendra Modi invoked nationalism in drought-hit Latur and assured the enthusiastic crowd that he will return the sacrifices with interests

PM Modi is in Maharashtra's Latur, and told the enthusiastic voters, "I have come to know that you are sitting here since 9.30 am. You are sitting here in this extreme heat. I won't let your 'tapasya' go in vain. I will return this to you with interest." He made it clear that he stands steadfastly by his resolve to hit terrorism and infiltration.

It was surprising though that he did not speak a word on local problems like farm distress and year-on-year drought.

"Your blessings and trust gave me the strength to do big works. Your trust is my biggest accomplishment in the last five years," PM Modi said.

PM said the government's objective was to rid India of Naxal and the Maoist menace. "We will kill terrorists right in their dens is the policy of New India," he said.

Modi added that the Congress manifesto and Pakistan speak the same language on Kashmir-related issues and added that it was, in fact, the Congress which is responsible for the creation of Pakistan.
