Petrol and diesel prices continued to remain at record high prices across the country which remained unchanged for the 10th consecutive day on Tuesday.

New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices continued to remain at record high prices across the country which remained unchanged for the 10th consecutive day on Tuesday.


There has not been any change in the prices of petrol and diesel so far this month.


The last changes in the prices of petrol and diesel were made on February 27. At that time, the price of petrol was hiked by 24 paise per litre while the diesel rate was increased by 15 paise per litre in Delhi.


According to the website of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 91.17 per litre while the rate for diesel is at Rs 81.47 per litre


During the months of January and February this year, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 4.87 per litre while that of diesel has been hiked by Rs 4.99 per litre.


Fuel prices in India are usually revised on a daily basis in accordance with benchmark international prices and foreign exchange rates.
