Petrol Diesel Price: Diesel rate rises by Rs 25 per liter

Oil marketing companies have increased the price of diesel by Rs 25 per liter for bulk users. The move comes after a 40 percent jump in international crude oil prices. However, there is no increase in the rate for retail users at the petrol pump.

New Delhi: The price of crude oil has increased in the international market. But it is not affecting India. But the wholosale buyers have suffered a major setback. 


Oil marketing companies have increased the price of diesel by Rs 25 per liter for bulk users. The move comes after a 40 percent jump in international crude oil prices. However, there is no increase in the rate for retail users at the petrol pump.


The price of diesel has reached Rs 115 for bulk users in Delhi. At the same time, diesel is being sold at petrol pumps at the rate of Rs 86.67 per liter. The price in Mumbai has increased to 122.05. There has been a 20 percent jump in the sales of petrol pumps this month. Fuel prices have not increased for a record 136 days.


Wholesale buyers of petroleum such as Railways, Defense, Power Plant are included. Public sector petroleum companies have not increased the prices of petrol and diesel with effect from November 4, 2021. There has been a sharp increase in the price of oil and fuel around the world.


Oil consumption has increased after Corona. Fuel sales have increased this month. This is because bulk users like bus operators and malls are buying fuel from petrol pumps instead of buying oil directly from oil companies.
