Amitabh Ojha, Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, has started treatment at the All India Institute Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. Has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the Cardiothoracic Center of AIIMS.
At present, no medical bulletin has been issued regarding his health. Lalu Yadav, who was convicted in the fodder scam case, admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi, was brought to Delhi by air ambulance last evening after his condition deteriorated.
It is being said that Lalu Yadav was having trouble breathing, the matter of filling water in his lungs is also coming out. Doctors at RIMS have also confirmed Lalu Yadav to have pneumonia. Also, it is being told that Lalu Yadav's kidney is also working at just 25 percent. After Lalu Yadav's condition became critical, the team of doctors of RIMS decided to send him to AIIMS in Delhi.
However, doctors at Rheims say that his condition is stable. According to doctors, his illness is not serious, but his age has increased the concern of family and party.
When Lalu Yadav was sent for treatment, Rims also released his health report. The report said that Lalu's condition remains the same and he is stable. His Kovid-19 test was done, which has been reported negative. But there have been general infections in the blood report. The HRCT report found pneumonia. After which he was referred to AIIMS Delhi on the advice of the State Medical Board.
After being sent to jail in the fodder scam, Lalu Yadav was undergoing treatment at Rim in Ranchi for almost two and a half years. He was sentenced to jail on December 23, 2017. But his health deteriorated during the sentencing. After which he was shifted from jail to Rims of Ranchi on September 6, 2018. Since then, he was undergoing treatment at RIM. Earlier, Lalu Yadav was admitted in March 2018 and was discharged by AIIMS in April next month. Now once again he is admitted to AIIMS.
