These fighter jets of China are based in PLA Air Force (PLAAF) airbases in Hotan, Gar Gunsa and Kashgar. All these were recently upgraded so that all types of fighter jets can be supported from here.
According to sources, all these Chinese aircraft remained within their own territory during the exercise.
