According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, 39,742 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, 535 patients have died. In the last 24 hours, 39,972 people defeated Corona. Along with this, a decrease of 765 has also been recorded in the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment.
The situation in Kerala is deteriorating day by day. Here in the last 24 hours, 18,531 people have tested positive for coronavirus. This figure is the highest in the last 51 days. Earlier on June 3, 18,853 infected were identified.

Partial lockdown in 23 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 23 states and union territories of the country. There are exemptions along with restrictions here. These include Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat is included.
More than 43 crore vaccine doses were administered in the country
The Covid-19 vaccination coverage in India has crossed the historical figure of 43 crores in which about 51 lakh doses were administered on Saturday. India's total immunization coverage has crossed the 43 crore (43,31,50,864) mark with about 51 lakh (51,18,210) doses administered on Saturday.
