Manali (Himachal Pradesh): Veteran Bollywood star and BJP MP Sunny Deol has been infected with coronavirus.
Sunny Deol has been living in Manali, Himachal for about a month. He was suffering from mild fever and a sore throat. He had subsequently undergone a coronavirus his test which turned out to be positive.
Dr. Sushil Chandra, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Kullu has confirmed this. He said that Sunny Deol himself called the Health Department team to get the coronavirus test done. His sample was taken on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, CMO of Mandi, Dr. Devendra Sharma has confirmed that Sunny Deol was found infected with coronavirus.
The 64-year-old Sunny Deol recently underwent a shoulder surgery in Mumbai. After this he went to his farm house in Manali for rest. He was staying in Manali for the last few days.
