New Delhi: Former India cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has received a fresh threat from notorious terrorist organisation Islamic State (ISIS).
A mail purportedly from ISIS Kashmir warned the former Team India star that ISIS spies are present among the Delhi Police who leak all sensitive information to the terrorist group.
"Your Delhi Police and IPS Shweta can't uproot anything. Our spies are also present in the police. All the information is being received about you," the mail from ISIS Kashmir warned.
This is the third mail from ISIS Kashmir to Gautam Gambhir. Earlier, two e-mails threatening to kill the former India cricketer and Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) MP were traced by traced to Pakistan by the Delhi Police.
The account handler has reportedly been identified as Sahid Hamid.
"We are going to kill you and your family," read the first threat e-mail received from 'ISIS Kashmir'.
The second threat mail read, "We intended to kill you, but you survived yesterday. If you love the life of your family, stay away from politics and the Kashmir issue."
Following the threats, security has been beefed up outside Gautam Gambhir's residence.
Senior officials of Delhi Police have also informed the media that Gautam Gambhir's complaint was marked to the Cyber Cell of the Special Cell to know the source of the mail.
