Puducherry: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto for the Puducherry Election 2021 on Friday. The BJP's Puducherry manifesto was released by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Issuing the manifesto, Sitharaman said that the document has talked about Nyaya (justice), as it has been prepared keeping in view the suggestions received from members of the public.
Targeting other parties in the Union Territory, Sitharaman said that unlike him, the BJP did not prepare a manifesto by sitting in air-conditioned rooms.
Anticipating the victory of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Puducherry Election 2021 on April 6, the BJP leader said, "People see Modi ji fulfilling his promises."
One of the promises made in the BJP's manifesto is that of giving free laptops to students of class 9 and above.
The BJP is contesting the Puducherry Election 2021 under the NDA alliance against the All India NR Congress and the AIADMK. On the other hand, the Congress and DMK are contesting as part of an alliance.
