Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sent out a message to its ally the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) that it does does not approve of a friendly struggle ahead of the Bihar Elections 2020.
The BJP sent out two signs giving out this message on Sunday. BJP national president JP Nadda said during a meeting in Gaya that the election does not belong to friendship. At the same time, in the second list released by the party, announced the names of its candidates for the two assembly seats Lalganj and Govindganj.
The party has fielded Sunil Mani Tripathi from the Govindganj seat, while Sanjay Kumar Singh will be the BJP candidate from the Lalganj seat in Vaishali district. During the last assembly elections, Raju Tiwari and Raj Kumar Shah respectively of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) had won these two seats.
In the second list of BJP candidates, Rohit Pandey has been given the ticket from the Bhagalpur seat in the place of Arijit Saswat, son of Union Minister Ashwini Choubey. Pandey is the president of the BJP's Bhagalpur unit.
Apart from this, former minister Nitish Mishra has once again been made a candidate from Jhanjharpur. At the same time, Omprakash Yadav a former MP from Siwan, will now be a candidate from the Siwan assembly seat.
