New Delhi (Anish Yande): The newly released Apple iPhone 12 is reportedly facing flickering and tinting issues. The display issues include screen flickering and yellow/green tinting issues. Apple is currently investigating what caused the issue and working to resolve it. The Apple iPhone 12 comes with a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR screen with a resolution up to 2778x1284 pixels.
iPhone Users Facing An Issue in Display:
Several iPhone 12 users have reported that they are facing display issues.
Apple users who have iOS 14.1, iOS 14.2 and the iOS 14.3 beta are reporting that they are affected by display issues.
Users who own the iPhone 12 mini, Phone 12 Pro, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro Max are reporting the issue on Apple's forums, and Apple Support Communities.
iPhone 12 users stated in Apple's forum that the tinting of iPhone 12 occurs when the brightness is set below a particular level.
Users reported flickering issues when they were viewing media with black bars on the dimensions of the media. Apple users said that when phone brightness is set below 90%, with black pixels remaining on the screen when dynamic scenes are triggered.
Apple Issues Instructions:
Apple has released instructions to Apple technicians in Apple service centers to prevent servicing of affected iPhone 12 models. Apple has suggested iPhone 12 users to ensure that their iOS was up to date. The Cupertino-based company is working towards a software update to fix the issues.
Apple is addressing the issue within the company. The company has been addressed user concerns in a company statement. They are yet to release an official statement regarding the issues.
