New Delhi: Heavy rain lashed the city this morning, bringing down the minimum temperature to 25 degrees Celsius, two notches elow normal for this time of the year.
Delhi witnessed heavy downpoar in the morning with the Safdarjung and Lodhi Road observatories recording 26.3 mm and 30.2 mm rain respectively. The Palam observatory recorded 8.1 mm rain, Aya Nagar 7.3 and 0.8 mm rain was recorded in the ridge area, the official said.
At 8.30 AM today, the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius, two notches below average, and humidity was 100 per cent, an MeT official said.
The weatherman predicted more rainfall in the day and said that the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at 30 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
