New Delhi: India has seen sharp spike in diabetic patients in the recent years. The busy lifestyle has made it difficult to blood sugar. Not only older adults, but also youngsters are suffering from problems related to blood sugar. The only solution to control blood sugar is by eating a healthy diet and managing a good lifestyle.
What to eat first thing in the morning: Blood Sugar patients should intake sugarfree tea, walnut and some almonds in the morning.
Breakfast: Doctors suggest blood sugar patients to take high proteins in the breakfast. Besides this, these patients also refrain from consuming dairy projects. They should eat boiled eggs in the morning
Between dinner and Lunch: Diabetic patient must eat fruit in between breakfast and lunch. Guava, Orange, Papaya, and watermelon are the fruits which can be helpful in maintaining blood sugar. However, Grapes and Mango should be avoided.
Lunch: Diabetic patients should eat chapati along with rice, dal, veggies, curd and a bowl of salad. Among vegetables, they can eat cabbage, capsicum, brinjal, mushroom and others.
In between lunch and dinner: Diabetic patients should not consume even the smallest quantity of sugar between lunch and dinner. They should drink green tea in this duration.
Dinner: To have balance in blood sugar, dinner should consist of rice, chapati, green vegetable. One can also have some vegetable soup in addition. Multigrain bread will also be highly beneficial in dinner.
