New Delhi: UP Basic Shiksha Uttar Pradesh has canceled the UP TET examination. The paper went viral on WhatsApp in Ghaziabad, Mathura and Bulandshahr before the exam today (Sunday), after which the examination was canceled.
The examination may be conducted again after 1 month, for which no separate fee will have to be paid.
On the information of STS canceling the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET), the examination regulatory authority has decided to postpone the examination of both shifts. Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay informed that the examinations of both shifts have been postponed.
Several suspects arrested
Uttar Pradesh ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar has informed that 7 people have been arrested from Meerut and Prayagraj.
Question papers of the UP TET examination were being shared from their phones via WhatsApp. There are some identified gang members. Arrests are going on in many districts of western UP.
Exam will be held again after one month
UPTET exam was to be held in two shifts. The first shift was to have primary level examination between 10 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift was to have upper primary level examination between 2.30 pm to 5 pm. In the first shift, the primary level examination was to be held at 2554 centers. This time 21 lakh 65 thousand candidates had applied in UP-TET. It is learned that the examination will be held again in a month.
