New Delhi, Jan 7: ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) has issued notification for 18 posts of Scientist / Engineer. Candidates who have earned a degree in Civil, Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Architecture Engineering can apply for these posts given below:
Vacancy details: The applicant should be 35 years of age or less as on 15 January 2019. At the same time, the SC / ST candidates should be below 40 years in age and for OBC candidates, the age limit should be less than 38 years. It is to be noted, the ex-servicemen and divisions (PWDs) have been exempted from age. (See notification for information related to age limit)
Last date: Candidates who wish to apply for these posts can apply before January 15, 2019

Selection procedure: After checking the academic performance and the bio-data, the candidates will be shortlisted for the written examination. The written examination will be held on 10th March 2019. These examinations will be conducted in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Crucial details: Admit cards for the exam will be sent by email in the second / third week of March 2019. Written examination will be of 80 points, in which objective questions will be asked. After which the candidates who are successful in written examination will be selected for the interview. Candidates who will get 60% marks in the interview, the selection panel will consider them in the order of merit.
Pay scale: The candidates who will be appointed on the posts of Scientist / Engineer will get a monthly salary of Rs 56,100 per month
