New Delhi: Today Google is celebrating the 104th Birth anniversary of eminent Indian painter Amrita Sher-Gil.
As a tribute to Sher-Gil, search giant has designed 'Three Girls' painting doodle of the renowned artist.
Considered as one of the most important woman painter of the 20th century, Shergil has been influential in depicting the life of women during the Bengal Renaissance.
Born to a Punjabi Sikh father and a Hungarian Jewish mother on 30th January 1913, she is also known as India's Frida Kahlo.
Ms Amrita has adopted her style of painting in Paris, where she learnt the use of colour and brush strokes, which adds life to all her paintings.
Her paintings speak volumes of her passionate lifestyle and relentless desire to express herself through her canvasses.
