New Delhi: A highly anticipated Google’s October 4 event is slated to showcase the launch of Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. However, if rumours are to be believed, Google may launch an Andromeda—a new operating system and merger of Android-Chrome OS—powered Huawei's 7-inch Pixel tablet and Pixel 3 'Bison' laptop in Q3 2017.
According to a report in 9to5Google, Google would be launching a set of new hardware in which Huawei-built 'Nexus' tablet is also on the cards. The report also discarded earlier reports tipping that the tablet would be Pixel branded quoting several sources familiar with the matter that it would be a Nexus brand.
Meanwhile, citing credible sources, Android Police has surfaced details about a Pixel 3 'Bison' laptop that will come with Google Andromeda on board. The laptop is said to be releasing in two variants, both of which would feature a 12.3-inch display and would be less than 10mm in thickness.
