Nottingham, June 13: With the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 severely affected by excess rainfall, India all-rounder Kedar Jadhav has requested the rain gods to go to his native Maharashtra instead of pouring all their water over England.
So far three matches of the ongoing World Cup have been washed out. Rains also threaten to wash out Thursday's match between India and New Zealand.
With drought-hit Maharashtra facing severe water shortage due to lack of rains, Jadhav requested the rain god to refrain from washing away World Cup mathes in England and travel to faraway Maharashtra.
This video of Kedar is currently viral on social media.
Kedar Jadhav did not get the chance to show his skills in batting first two matches. Kedar could not make a mark in the bowling attack.
India will play against New Zealand on Thursday, after which there will be a challenge for India against India on Sunday. So it is important to see whether Kedar Jadhav gets an opportunity to show his game in these matches.
