New Delhi, Dec 2: Copying its rival Reliance Jio, now Bharti Airtel is offering its prepaid users with additional data of 5GB. However, this offer will be limited to certain circles, but with a catch.
The offer is being pushed to Airtel prepaid users as a text message whose prepaid plans are soon to expire. The text message reads that an additional 5GB of data will be given if a user recharges ahead of the expiry date of the recharge plan. The offer seems to be available on recharge of Rs 249 that offers users unlimited local and STD calling, roaming, 2GB data and 100SMS per day for a validity period of 28 days.
Reliance Jio offering 24GB data under Jio Celebrations Pack
Jio users are again getting 2GB of 4G data for free which can be checked in the My Plan section of MyJio app. The additional data offered to users is an extension of the ‘Jio Celebrations Pack’ by the company that began in early September.The Jio Celebrations Pack began rolling out again starting November 27, however, some users may get it a little later. The company has previously rolled out similar benefits to its users under the ‘Celebrations Offer’ in the last two months on the occasion of the second anniversary of its launch. The company offered 8GB data in bulk to the users’ account with a daily limit of 2GB on its usage. But this time it is said that the company is offering 24GB data this time.
