Gaikwad is free to fly in air once again

New Delhi: Finally Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad had his way. The Civil Aviation ministry has written to Air India to withdraw the ban on the Shiv Sena MP. The move comes as a surprise. There was an official statement from the Air India Union that it does not feel safe flying with the MP.

The matter had become a prestige issue for the Shiv Sena who after criticising him initially were supporting their MP. They even threatened the NDA government if the Shiv Sena did not have its way. Earlier in the day, two pictures of the AI tickets went viral and it was denied by Ravindra Gaikwad that any such ticket had been booked by him.
