New Delhi (Anish Yande): Black Shark, the gaming smartphone brand backed by Xiaomi, has revealed its latest device in the works. A teaser poster for the Black Shack 4 has been posted on the Chinese social media site Weibo. The Black Shark 3 was launched in March 2020, along with its Pro variant.
The smartphone brand seemingly always launches a new smartphone in the first quarter of a year.
The CEO of Black Shark, Luo Yuzhou, had stated that the Black Shark 4 would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The gaming smartphone company had claimed that the phone could be fully charged in only 15 minutes.
Specs of the Black Shark 4:
According to the details of the post on Weibo, the Black Shark 4 could come with an AMOLED display. The display could have a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The Black Shark 3 had been launched with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The display of the Black Shark 4 is expected to be a larger display.
The standout feature of the Black Shark 4 is its battery backup. The phone would pack a battery of 4,500mAh battery. The Black Shark 4 would have notable Superfast charging support of 120W.
The poster on Weibo indicates that the Black Shark 4 could come with RAM specs of 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM paired with storage specs of 512GB in UFS 3.1 storage. The Black Shark 4 could come with haptic feedback triggers such as ASUS ROG Phone.
The Black Shark 4 comes with connectivity features of 5G and 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Black Shark 3 Pro came with a sizeable 7.1 inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels. The device came with an overclocked Snapdragon 865 processor.
