New Delhi (Anish Yande): Vivo has launched a new offering in the budget entry-level segment in India. The Vivo 12s is a spiritual successor to the Vivo Y12 which was launched in India during July 2020, with upgrades in the battery and camera departments. The Vivo 12s has been launched competitively against phones from Realme and Xiaomi.
Vivo Y12S Specs:
The Vivo Y12s comes with a 6.51-inch FullView HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 720x1,600 pixels. The Vivo Y12s comes with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The Y12s comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Vivo Y12s comes with dimensions of 164.41×76.32×8.41mm with a weight of 191 grams.
The Y12s features a dual-camera setup on the rear. Vivo Y12s features a primary sensor of 13-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.2 with a secondary sensor of 2-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.4 lens.
The selfie snapper of the Y12s is an 8-megapixel lens with an aperture of f/1.8 lens.
The Vivo Y12s comes with an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Vivo Y12s fingerprint sensor is a side-mounted sensor.
The Vivo Y12s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor.
Y12s runs on a Funtouch 11 OS based on Android 10. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with charging support up to 10W.
Connectivity features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM Radio, a Micro-USB port. The storage is expandable by up to 1TB of storage.
Prices for the Vivo Y12s:
The Vivo Y12s comes with a price tag of Rs 9,990 for the only variant, the 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant. Vivo Y12s comes with a base variant of 3GB RAM of 32 GB storage variant.
The Y12s is available in Phantom Black and Glacier Blue color variants.
The device can be purchased through online stores such as the Vivo India store, Amazon, Flipkart, and other retail stores.
