New Delhi (Anish Yande): Nokia is prepping for smartphone launches in 2021, with three phones already tipped to be launched in the next year. The year ended on a high note for Nokia with the launch of the Nokia 8.3 5G in global markets, among other devices.
The three smartphones which are in the works have been spotted on certification websites such as TUV Rheinland.
Three Nokia phones recieve certification:
The TUV Rheinland branch in Japan and Element Materials Technology recently certified and listed the details of the devices.
On the TUV Rheinland website, the three Nokia smartphones are listed with the model numbers WT340, CN110, and V730.
The phones with the model numbers CN110 and WT340 were certified by TUV Rheinland Japan. Meanwhile, the device with the model number V730 has been certified by Element Materials Technology.
The WT340 seems to be the topmost smartphone among the three, with a battery capacity of 5050 mAh. Meanwhile, the device with the model number V730 has a 3,900mAh battery, and the device with the model number CN110 has a 4,470mAh battery.
The battery capacity of 5050 mAh is the largest battery on a Nokia phone.
The Nokia 9.3 PureView to launch in 2021:
The Nokia 9.3 PureView was expected to be launched in 2020. However, the device went through several delays. Reportedly, Nokia is planning several new technologies to be integrated into the device.
The expected specs of the Nokia 9.3 PureView could constitute a 6.7-inch display with a curved OLED display. The device could have a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Pureview would be Nokia's entrant into the mid-range segment of smartphones with 5G connectivity.
The camera specs of the Pureview could include an under-display camera with a primary sensor of 108 megapixels. The Pureview could sport the 5050 mAh battery spotted on the certification website.
The phone is expected to have a fingerprint sensor embedded in-display, according to reports.
