New Delhi (Anish Yande): Samsung is set to kick off its Unpacked 2021 virtual event. The Samsung Galaxy S21 series would be launched through the event. The virtual event is set to start from 8 PM on January 14th. The pre-bookings are expected to commence in India from January 15th.
Specs of the Galaxy S21:
Samsung Galaxy S21 would be having a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display. The Galaxy S21+ would be featuring a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Full HD+ display. The Galaxy S21 Ultra would come with a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display. All devices would be coming with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 would weigh 171 grams. The Galaxy S21+ would weigh 202 grams, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra would weigh 228 grams.
The smartphones from Samsung would have water and dust resistance with an IP68 certification.
The Galaxy S21 series would also feature a Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ with a primary sensor of 64-megapixels lens. The rear camera setup comes with a 12-megapixels lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The selfie snapper is a 10 megapixels camera.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra would feature a primary sensor of 108 megapixels. The quad rear camera setup would come with a 12 megapixels ultra-wide sensor paired with a 10 megapixels telephoto lens. The front camera is a 40 megapixels selfie snapper.
The Galaxy S21 series would run on an Exynos 2100 processor. The Galaxy S21 would pack a 4,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy S21+ would pack a 4,800 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra would pack a 5,000 mAh battery. The Samsung devices would come with charging support of up to 25W of wired charging.
Prices of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series:
The Samsung Galaxy series would be available in Phantom Violet, Phantom Gray, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink. The Samsung devices would be available in 8GB RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra would be available in 12GB or 16GB RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB storage variants.
The Galaxy S21 would start at €879, which is around Rs 79,000. The Galaxy S21+ would come with a price tag of €1049, which is around Rs 94,500. The Galaxy S21 Ultra would come with a price tag of €1399, which would be more than Rs 1 lakh in India.
