Registrations for the battle royale game were underway on the TapTap page for both IoS and Android. Reports from PUBG Corporation and Krafton indicate that the game would be launching today.

On the new official website dedicated to PUBG Mobile India, visitors had spotted a download link. The download information mentioned that the link, was for PUBG Mobile India. The download link for PUBG Mobile was present in the news section of the website.
However, users couldn't download the game. The download link for PUBG Mobile was later removed.
Would PUBG Mobile Return Officially?
According to official statements by the PUBG Corporation and Krafton, the return of PUBG Mobile is imminent. However, PUBG Mobile's official launch date and time are yet to be revealed.
Krafton, the parent company of PUBG Corporation has plans to invest a sum of $100 million in India. They would be investing through the Indian sectors of e-sports, video game development, and entertainment. These initiatives are meant to assure the Indian government of PUBG Corporation's interest in the development of Indian businesses.
PUBG Corporation had earlier announced plans to set up an office in India. They have plans to hire over 100 employees. Through their local administration branch, PUBG Corporation would be looking to collaborate with local businesses to bolster its current offerings.
What is Going to Be the Same in PUBG Mobile India?
According to statements from PUBG Corporation, the IDs that users used for PUBG Mobile before its ban would be retained. Users can sign in and continue playing in the accounts they are familiar with. Users can continue the skins, records, and achievements they had previously earned.
Gamers had started to pre-register for the official return of the app.
TapTap, the popular gaming sharing community, had posted the pre-registration data for PUBG Mobile India. PUBG Mobile had garnered more than 200,000 pre-registrations.
The Indian government hasn't yet commented on the relaunch of the game in India. The government had banned the app deeming it a breach of the data security of Indians.
