New Delhi (Anish Yande): Poco has announced the launch of Poco M3, a new entrant into the mid-range smartphone market. The M3 comes after the success of M2 launched earlier this year in Indian markets. The phone is launched to compete against competitors Realme and Samsung. The device is set to be launched on November 27.
Poco M3 Specs and Features:
The display specs for the Poco M3 are a 6.53-inch full HD+ display. The rear camera setup is a triple camera setup. The primary camera sensor is a 48MP primary sensor with a 2-megapixel macro lens. The rear camera setup also has a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera is an 8-megapixel sensor. The rear camera setup is designed as an elongated module.
The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor. The GPU for the phone is Adreno 610 GPU. The phone has a battery capacity of 6,000mAh. M3 has charging support of 18W fast charging along with reverse charging. The device runs on Android 11 OS. The phone has a waterdrop notch. The phone would have 5G support, according to Poco.
Prices for the Poco M3:
The Poco M3 comes in two variants, with 4GB RAM and a storage of 64GB. The other variant is 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone comes in Black, Yellow, and Blue color.
The prices were announced in USD by Poco. The 4GB RAM/64GB Storage variant costs $149, which is converted around to Rs 11,040.
The 4GB RAM/128 GB Storage variant is priced at $169, which is converted around to Rs 12,520. The device would be first released in China and the US. Poco hasn't yet announced the release date for the device in India.
Poco has announced a discount of around Rs 1,480, which would further bring down the price. The follow-up to the Poco M2, which was launched in India in September.
