New Delhi (Anish Yande): OnePlus has entered the wearable segment with its first fitness wearable launched on January 11, 2021. Sales for the OnePlus Band opened early for Red Cable Club members on Monday. The wearable from OnePlus is available on the OnePlus Store and online retailers such as Amazon for a launch price of Rs 2,499.
The OnePlus Band has been launched at competitive prices in the midrange segment for competing against Xiaomi and Realme. OnePlus is set to go against competitors such as Xiaomi's Mi Smart Band 5 and Realme's Smart Band.
OnePlus Band Specs and Features:
The OnePlus Band comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 126×294 pixels. The color display has adjustable brightness. OnePlus Band has an IP68 rating, which can effectively resist dust up to a certain level. The Band also has a 5ATM rating, which provides water resistance up to 50 meters of water.
The OnePlus Band comes with up to 13 exercise modes. These exercise modes include swimming, running, yoga, and cricket.
The Band comes with features such as sleep tracking, real-time heart rate tracking, and alerts about heart rate. OnePlus Band comes with features of an Sp02 sensor for monitoring the blood oxygen levels. The Band also monitors the heart rate of the user.
OnePlus has introduced the OnePlus Health app for users to keep a track of their fitness levels. The Band from OnePlus comes with a 100mAh battery. The Band runs for 14 days on a single charge.
OnePlus Band comes with Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. When connected to the user's device via Bluetooth, several features such as call rejection, call alerts, music playback control, notification alerts, and replying via instant messages are available.
The wearable device from OnePlus comes with several strap color options. OnePlus offers wrist straps in colors such as Navy and Tangerine Gray for Rs 399.
