New Delhi (Anish Yande): HTC launched a new smartphone with 5G connectivity, the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G. The smartphone brand is making an effort to venture into the 5G smartphone segment with the latest entrant in the HTC Desire series. The Desire 21 Pro 5G would be the first smartphone launched by the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer in 2021.
The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G would be HTC's offering in the upcoming range of 5G midrange smartphones.

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G comes at a price tag of TWD 11,990, which is around Rs 31,200 for the base variant of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The Desire 21 Pro comes in color variants of Star Blue and Mirage Purple.

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1,080x2,400 pixels. The Desire 21 Pro features a high refresh rate of 90Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The Desire 21 Pro 5G comes with dimensions of 167.1x78.1x9.4mm. The Desire 21 Pro weighs 205 grams.
HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G runs on a 5G-enabled Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor. Desire 21 Pro features a quad rear camera setup with a primary sensor of 48-megapixels, along with a secondary sensor of 8-megapixels. The rear camera setup comes with a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel sensor.
The Desire 21 Pro comes with a selfie shooter of 16-megapixels. The Desire 21 Pro 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support of up to 18W.
The Desire 21 Pro runs on an Android 10 OS. Connectivity features of the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G include Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, WiFi, and USB Type-C port. The fingerprint sensor of the Desire 21 Pro is placed at the side of the device.
Desire 21 Pro 5G has a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyro, gravity sensor, and compass.
