New Delhi, Feb 16: For a long time Reliance Jio has been dominating the telecom sector. The company keeps offering new and attractive plans at frequent intervals to woo new customers and to keep it's customers intact with the company. By this Jio keeps on creating pressure on the other telecom companies to come up with new plans or leave market share.
Now Airtel has launched a new recharge plan at Rs 9 with 1 day validity to take on Reliance Jio’s Rs 19 plan, which also offers with a similar validity. Airtel’s latest prepaid recharge offer will be available in different circles, including Delhi NCR to offer unlimited calls at Rs 9 recharge.
According to the Airtel website, the Rs 9 plan will be bundled with unlimited calls, including local, STD and roaming calls, however, the company has a daily limit of 250 minutes on calls. Apart from the free calling, the pack also includes 100MB data and 100 SMS.
If Jio’s Rs 19 plan is compared, it offers unlimited calls on local, STD and roaming and 0.15GB data. Post-exhaustion of the limited data, the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps. Apart from the data and free calling the plan also offers free 20 SMS for the users in comparison to the 100 that Airtel is giving. But Jio plan also comes with complimentary subscription to Jio Apps valid for a day.
