New Delhi, July 16: WhatsApp has over a billion users who share tens of billion text, images and videos messages among others on a daily basis and a slight change in the interface can affect its users. In the latest updates in the beta version of the app some of these features have been spotted. 

Here are five features that are coming to the platform: 

WhatsApp Dark Mode 

Your WhatsApp interface might soon change as the company is working on a new feature called "Dark Mode." This mode aims to darken the app interface instead of the white and UFO green colour scheme. WhatsApp is expected to bring the dark mode or also named as Night Mode in the next update. The Night Mode will be more relaxing and hurt the eyes less in low light conditions. Users can then change their app look into black.

Saving DPs 

Sad news for Apple users as in the latest beta version of WhatsApp, you can no longer save profile pictures of individual contacts. You can no longer save profile pictures of individual contacts. The company had earlier done the same in the beta version of its Android app. It's a move that could be inspired by the need to protect user privacy.

Album improvements

The latest update also introduces album improvements for iPhone users. Now users will receive multiple photos in a chat, WhatsApp will show the total size of the album and the number of items that are there in it.

WhatsApp payment 

WhatsApp payments could soon be coming to all users of the platform in India and abroad. According to Mark Zuckerberg, the feature will soon be announced globally.

Animated stickers for WhatsApp

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp users will soon be able to share animated WhatsApp stickers through their Android smartphones, iPhones as well as through WhatsApp web.
