New Delhi, May 13: Having captured the domestic market with its host of products at dirt cheap rates, telecom giant Reliance Jio is back with yet another freebie.
The Mukesh Ambani owned company has decided to extend its Prime membership plan worth Rs 99 for another year. The offer will be available on a complimentary basis for all Jio Prime subscribers.
This effectively means that Jio consumers now no longer need to pay the additional fee of Rs 99 in order to get the Prime subscription. They can thus avail the services of all the Jio Apps, including the extremely popular JioTV and JioCinema for just Rs 99.
Since the Prime subscription will now be renewed automatically, Jio subscribers will now only need to pay for their recharge plans.
In order to avail this facility, you need to open the 'My plans' section on the MyJio app. This will show you a notice confirming the extension of the membership for another year.
The message will read "Your request to avail free Jio Prime membership for a year has been registered successfully. You can now enjoy Jio Prime benefits for another year. Thank You!".
If you receive this notification, you can be assured that your automatic subscription has been activated.
Introduced in 2017, the cheapest subscription of Jio Prime subscription comes at Rs 98. Valid for a period of 28 days, this plan offers unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS a month.
This plan also offers 2GB data in Jio's 4G LTE network along with complimentary subscription to the Jio Apps.
