Wah! Bahubali 2 breaks another world record before release

New Delhi: SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is India’s biggest movie event and both movies took almost 5 years to complete. Baahubali 2 will have its world premiere at a grand event in Mumbai on Thursday and will be attended by almost every celeb from Indian film Industry. This event will set a benchmark for the future premieres in India, says confident SS Rajamouli.

Baahubali 2 is also set to break records worldwide when it gets released on Friday on a never seen before scale. The film is set to hit 9,000 screens worldwide. In India, it will open with record breaking 6,500 screens, including Karnataka where the film was feared to get an unofficial ban from the pro-Kannada groups over Sathyaraj’s (playing Kattappa) comments he made nine years ago during the Cauvery row. However, after this situation, the actor apologised for the sake of the movie, after which advance booking started in Karnataka, especially in Bengaluru the offered online tickets are almost over and the situation is faced in Telugu states and Kerala where people are unable to buy tickets online. In South India Baahubali shows will start as early as 6 am and this clearly shows the craze for the movie in the people.   

In the US "Baahubali 2" will get the biggest launch ever for an Indian film. As per the report, the film's Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions set to release on 1,100 screens. In Canada Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions of Baahubali 2 will be released on over 150 screens in about 80-plus locations.

 Baahubali 2 will also be the first film to released in the original IMAX format in these markets. 

Baahubali 2, Hindi version will also get a wide release in New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji Islands.

The Tamil version of the film is set to get a huge release across Malaysia. Baahubali 2 will also be premiered in the UK as a part of UK-India Year of Culture events.
