New Delhi: The queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut was vociferous about Sushant Singh Rajput's death which she claimed was a clear case of murder by the Bollywood honchos. Not only that, the actress also went on to say that she will return her Padma Shri if fails to prove her claims.
Now, after the report of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) wherein they ruled out murder and stated that the incident was indeed a tragic case of suicide.
There were no signs of struggle and injuries other than injuries around the neck area, the report said.
The Chairman of AIIMS Dr. Sudhir Gupta while talking to an ANI reporter stated,'' It is a case of hanging and death by suicide. There were no injuries over the body other than hanging. There were no marks of struggle/ scuffle in the body and clothes of the deceased.”
The team of CBI investigating the death case of the deceased actor also said that they could not find any solid proofs to call it a case of murder.
After official statements indicating the death as a case of suicide, agitated Twitteratis have launched a campaign against Kangana Ranaut. Quoting Kangana's statement wherein she vowed to return her Padma Shri back, netizens are asking Kangana to fulfill her promise. The hash tag Kangana Award Wapas Kar has became a top trend on Twitter with over 5,000 tweets.
Swara Bhasker, who has been at the war of words with the Kangana several times since the tragic demise of Sushant, also took an indirect dig at her.
Joining in the Kaganaga Award Wapas Karo trend, Swara in a veiled comment said, ' Hey! Now that both CBI and AIIMS have concluded that #SushantSinghRajput tragically died by suicide... weren’t some people going to return their government bestowed awards???”
Her tweet came soon after Rhea Chakraborty was granted conditional bail by Bombay high court in the matter of illegal consumption of drugs. She was arrested by The Narcotics Control Bureau on September 8th, 2020.
