Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty's much-anticipated film Hungama 2 released released on Friday after much delay in the wake of the pandemic. The film marks her return to acting after a gap of 14 years. Even though she has been active in the entertainment industry and has been a part of various reality shows, it took Shilpa over a decade to return on the acting front. However, the big blow to the actor came as her Husband and businessman Raj Kundra's arrest who has been accused of being indulged in porn creation. However, the actor has stood tall against all the odds and has been promoting her film irrespective of the upheaval in the personal life.
Shilpa took to Twitter to request to her fans to watch Hungama 2, adding that it "involves the relentless efforts of an entire team."
Shilpa tweeted, “I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW.” Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever!”
In another tweet, she wrote, "So today, I request you all to watch Hunagma 2 with you families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film. Thank you🙏😇 With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra 🙏🏻🧿”
Meanwhile, in another update related to Raj Kundra's case, he was taken to Crime Branch's property cell office in Byculla, Mumbai, late on Friday night.
Mumbai Police have suspected that the money earned from pornography was used for online betting. "This is why transactions between Raj Kundra's Yes bank account and United Bank of Africa account need to be investigated," Mumbai Police told the court.
The crime branch on Friday raided Raj Kundra's house and found many as 70 porn videos along with a server.
