New Delhi, News24 Bureau, June 6: Actor Vivek Oberoi, ahead of his film 'PM Narendra Modi', a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi promotions, landed himself in a controversy by sharing a meme on Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, whom he was said to be dating during his initial career days.
Vivek, recently, retweeted a meme created by his fan which featured his ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai. In the first pic of the meme, Aishwarya can be seen with former boyfriend Salman Khan with the caption ''Opinion Poll'. In the second pic, she can be seen with Vivek and caption of the pic read as, ''Exit Poll'' while in the third pic, Aishwarya can be seen with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya with the caption ''Results''.
And now Salman, during the promotions of his film 'Bharat' opened up on Vivek-Aishwarya's controversy. During the promotion of his film, Salman was asked what he thought about the meme, to which 'Bharat' star said, ''he didn't know about it.''
Earlier, Aishwarya's father-in-law and megastar Amitabh Bachchan also reacted on Vivek's meme. Amitabh reacted to Vivek's tweet indirectly. A tweet of Big B in which he is talking about social media responsibility. Amitabh tweeted, ''T 3170-Correction: Think about Social media, a friend..Don't be socially reasonable!!''
On the professional front, Salman's film 'Bharat' has become his highest Eid opener and collected Rs 42 crore on day one.
'Bharat' storms the box office. Proves yet again Salman Khan is the biggest crowd puller. 'Bharat' opens much bigger than Salman and Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 34.10 crore) and 'Sultan' (Rs 36.54 crore). 'Bharat' - Wednesday (Rs 42.30 crore) India business," wrote, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh stating the the collection of the film.
