New Delhi: Director Rohit Shetty has begun filming the final schedule of his forthcoming film Cirkus. Cirkus is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play, The Comedy Of Errors, in which actor Ranveer Singh will play the lead role. In the film, Ranveer Singh will essay a double role which will mark his first double role in his Bollywood career. On Saturday Rohit Shetty took to his Instagram handle and shared a photo from the film’s set. He wrote, "It’s been a hell of a ride so far! And now… The final countdown begins! Heading towards the final schedule of CIRKUS." In the picture, Rohit stands on a stage built on the sets while a camera is placed beside him. Ranveer stands below it. They both have their eyes pinned on each other while the spotlights are placed on the duo.
Earlier, Ranveer Singh has shared a glimpse from the shoot of the film. He posted three pictures from the shoot on his Instagram account. In the image, Ranveer seems to be inside a theatre, looking into a distance. He captioned the image with emojis of a circus tent, reels, camera and theatre mask.
Produced and directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie will be presented by Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Entertainment. It will also star Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Siddhartha Jadhav, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar and Murli Sharma. Cirkus is all set to hit the theatres on December 31.
